Clinical Management Tools are being developed to standardize care and ensure appropriate treatment and disposition of patients so they get the right care at the right time. The tools being developed will provide general guidance for management of conditions in different body regions (e.g. ankle/foot). They will help the provider make timely and appropriate decisions to provide the care necessary for optimal outcomes.

As part of its top initiatives, R2D has lead a coordinated effort with other DoD, Federal, and community agencies on standards of care, programs, administrative processes, Family issues, and policies to ensure timely, effective, holistic and compassionate rehabilitation and reintegration care for Service Members.
